Low Carb Cream Cheese Rangoons

Ingredients:

For the wontons

  • 6 Rice paper sheets

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup cooked crab meat or imitation crab, chopped

  • 1 green onion, chopped

  • 1 tsp soy sauce

  • Garlic powder to taste

  • Avocado oil spray

For the SWeet chili sauce

  • ½ cup rice vinegar

  • ½ cup water

  • ½ cup sweetener

  • 2–3 cloves garlic, finely minced

  • 1–2 tablespoons red chili flakes

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

  • 2 tablespoons water (for slurry)

Directions:

  1. Mix cream cheese, crab meat, green onion, soy sauce, and garlic powder.

  2. Soften rice paper sheets and cut into quarters.

  3. Place a spoonful of filling on each quarter, fold into triangles or small parcels.

  4. Spray with oil and air fry at 370°F (190°C) for 5-7 minutes until crispy and golden. You can shallow fry too but to avoid the oil splatter, you can airfry

  5. While it’s airfrying, add everything for your sauce into a sauce pan. Stir until combined, and allow cornstarch to thicken up your sauce.

  6. Serve warm with sweet chili or soy dipping sauce.
