Chicken Parmesan (Lighter Version)
Servings: 4
Ingredients:
2 chicken breasts, fileted or cut in half lengthwise
2 cups broccoli, chopped into pieces
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
½ cup mozzarella cheese
1 jar low sugar marinara
Top with parsley
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375F.
Cook your chicken breast on a cast iron pan or skillet over medium high heat.
Add your garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper and cook until it’s almost fully cooked.
Add your chopped broccoli and saute.
Now, add your marinara sauce on top of the broccoli and chicken.
Top with mozzarella cheese and bake for 15-30 minutes (depending on how small you cut your broccoli, you may need to cook for longer).
You can serve this with some cauli rice or enjoy it on its own!
