5 Minute DIY Immunity Shots

 
 

Yields: 8 Immunity Shots

Ingredients:

  • 4 4-inch pieces of fresh ginger (peeled)

  • 4 4-inch pieces of fresh turmeric (peeled, or 4 tsp turmeric powder)

  • Juice of 3 lemons

  • Juice of 2 large oranges 

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper (to enhance turmeric absorption)

  • 3 tablespoon raw honey or maple syrup (optional)

  • 3 cups water or coconut water

  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper

Directions:

  1. Juice or blend the ginger and turmeric (or blend and strain if you don't have a juicer).

  2. Add lemon juice, orange juice, black pepper, cayenne pepper, honey, and water (or coconut water).

  3. Stir to combine, then strain through a fine mesh sieve if you prefer a smoother shot.

  4. Pour into small shot glasses and enjoy!
