Easy Pickled Onions
Servings: 6
Ingredients:
3 red onions (I used 1 large, and 2 small)
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
4 lemons juiced
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp salt
Directions:
Slice your onions thinly, and add these to a large bowl.
Then, add your lemon juice from your 4 lemons, apple cider vinegar, oregano and salt.
Mix, and taste. At this point, if you need to adjust your salt or add more oregano, do so now.
Set aside for 15-20 mins, your onions will be soft and start pickling.
For best results, put in the fridge for 2-3 hours, however you can eat them after 20 mins. Enjoy with a cheese shell taco, on top on a skillet, etc!
