Low Carb French Toast
Yields: 8
Ingredients:
Bread -
1.5 cups almond flour
8 eggs
½ cup unsalted melted butter
4 tbsp baking powder
French Toast Mix -
1 cup almond milk
2 eggs
¼ cup sweetener
Dash of cinnamon
Directions:
In a bowl mix well all ingredients
Pour into lightly greased mold
Microwave for 3 mins seconds, allow to cool.
Slice your bread into 8 equal pieces and start your french toast station
In a large mixing bowl or 9x9 dish, crack and whisk your 2 eggs. Add your almond milk, sweetener and cinnamon and whisk your french toast mix until combined.
Dip your bread into your french toast mix.
In a saute pan, with a tbsp of butter and add your dipped bread on the pan.
Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove from the pan and add your sugar free syrup and whipped cream!
