Keto Red Velvet Mug Cake
Red Velvet has always been my favorite cake, and I'm so happy to be able to share this recipe with you today!
Ingredients:
Mug Cake Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp almond flour, packed (make sure you measure this packed and not loose or your cake will be too wet) 
- 1 tbsp butter 
- 1 tbsp sour cream 
- 1 egg 
- 1 ½ tbsp sweetener (I used granular monkfruit) 
- 1 tsp cocoa powder, unless you LOVE chocolate like me, then add 2 tsp 
- ¼ tsp red coloring optional 
- ½ tsp baking powder 
- Optional: 1/2 tsp vanilla

Cream Cheese Frosting:
- 2 tbsp cream cheese, softened 
- 1 tbsp butter, softened 
- 1/4 tsp heavy cream 
- 4-5 tsp powdered sweetener 
- Dash of salt 
Directions:
- Melt your butter in your mug and add in all of your wet ingredients (sour cream, egg, vanilla extract) 
- Now, mix your dry ingredients together in a bowl (cocoa powder, sweetener, baking powder, almond flour) 
- Add your dry ingredients into your wet ingredients in a mug. Mix thoroughly. 
- Add your food coloring and mix thoroughly. 
- Microwave for 60 seconds. 
- Take your cake out and let it cool completely for 5-10 minutes while you make your frosting now. 
- Add all frosting items into a bowl and whip until it reaches a thick whipped cream consistency. 
- Make sure your cake is cool, add frosting on cake and enjoy!
