Magic Shell Chocolate Raspberry Chia Yogurt

 

Ingredients (1 serving)

Yogurt base

  • ¾ cup plain Greek yogurt (or thick coconut yogurt)

  • ½–1 cup fresh raspberries

  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds

  • 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Magic shell

  • ¼ cup dark chocolate chips

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Optional toppings

  • Flaky sea salt

  • Extra raspberries

  • Cacao nibs

  • Chopped almonds or pistachios

Instructions

  1. Mash the raspberries lightly with a fork, leaving some chunks.

  2. Stir together the yogurt, raspberries, chia seeds, honey (if using), and vanilla.

  3. Let the mixture sit for 5–10 minutes so the chia seeds begin to absorb moisture.

  4. Microwave the chocolate chips and coconut oil in 20–30 second intervals, stirring until smooth.

  5. Pour the melted chocolate evenly over the cold yogurt mixture.

  6. Freeze for 15–20 minutes, or until the chocolate hardens into a crisp shell.

  7. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and any additional toppings. Crack the shell with a spoon and enjoy. The combination of coconut oil and cold yogurt creates the signature "magic shell" effect.
