Traditional Mexican Aguas Frescas
Cucumber Lime Agua Fresca
Servings: 3
Ingredients:
1 large cucumber, peeled and chopped
2 cups cold water
Juice of 1 lime (about 2 tbsp)
6–8 fresh mint leaves
1–2 tsp powdered monk fruit, stevia, or erythritol (to taste)
Pinch of sea salt (optional — enhances flavor!)
Ice cubes, for serving
Optional: splash of sparkling water for fizz
Directions:
Blend cucumber, water, lime juice, mint leaves, sweetener, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
Strain (optional) through a fine mesh sieve if you prefer a smoother drink.
Taste and adjust sweetness or lime as needed.
Serve over ice, and optionally top with sparkling water for a bubbly twist.
Garnish with cucumber slices or mint sprigs.

Watermelon Mint Agua Fresca

3 cups watermelon (use in moderation for lower carbs)
2 cups cold water
Juice of 1-2 limes (to taste)
1–2 tsp monk fruit, erythritol, or stevia (to taste)
Pinch of salt (optional)
Ice, for serving

Blend watermelon, water, lime juice, mint leaves, and sweetener (optional) until smooth.

1 cup strawberries, whole
Juice of 1 lemon
2 cups cold water
1 lemonade electrolyte stickpack (or you can also do the lemon juice and 1–2 tsp monk fruit, erythritol, or stevia)
Ice, for serving
Directions:
Blend all of the ingredients listed except the ice until smooth.
Strain (optional) through a fine mesh sieve if you prefer a smoother drink.
Taste and adjust sweetness or lemon as needed.
Serve over ice, and optionally top with sparkling water for a bubbly twist.
Garnish with lemon slices!
