1 large chayote squash, peeled and cut into small cubes
3 tbsp sweetener
2 tbsp butter
½ tsp cinnamon powder
1 tbsp lemon juice
Crust:
1 tbsp butter, melted
4 tbsp almond flour
½ tbsp sweetener
Garnish with low carb vanilla ice cream!
Directions:
If you’re planning to make your apple filling, make it now by adding your butter and chayote squash on medium high heat. Cook until soft.
Add the rest of your ingredients and mix, it will resemble an apple pie filling!
For your crust - add butter into a mug and melt together in the microwave for 20 seconds.
Add in your almond flour and sweetener and mix.
Microwave for 90 seconds.
Top your cooked crust with apple pie filling and vanilla ice cream!
